“ Best french fries around. Fresh made not frozen. Suggest getting them well done. Cheesebeuger with (grilled onions) is very good too. ”
“ Met a friend here for an early Saturday breakfast. We arrived around 8 and the place was already pretty busy. Service was a bit sporadic (maybe short staffed?) but was friendly, and once we ordered, we had food very quick. We both ordered biscuits and gravey. The food was good, just not terribly hot. Coffee was OK. This diner has a fabulous fun and family-friendly environment. Very traditional diner vibes, complete with counter and stools. If you are tired of the chains, it's a great place to go and eat and well worth the drive from Columbus to change up your eating out routine. The location is perfect for a downtown stroll and for visiting the local shops afterward. ”
“ On a 12 hour drive, in the mood for good old fashioned hole in the wall diner food. This place did not disappoint! Double burger with everything on it, asked for a fried egg on top, no problem. Fries HOMEMADE, extra crispy. Husband had fish sandwich basket and chilie. Excellent. And homemade cole slaw. Amazing. Worth the short jog off I-65 (about 2 miles). Waitress Sarah on the ball, perfect, thank you! ”
“ Walking into Larrison’s Diner is like stepping into a culinary time machine. The moment those doors swing open, you’re hit with the unmistakable, glorious aroma of grilled onions sizzling on a flat-top griddle that’s probably seen more action than a 1970s bowling alley. It’s like they’ve bottled up the scent of happiness and sprayed it all over the diner. Let me tell you about the burgers. These aren’t just burgers—they’re life events. They’re thick, juicy, and grilled to perfection, with edges that are just a little crispy from the griddle, like a delicious burger halo. Each bite is a savory explosion of beefy goodness, perfectly paired with caramelized onions that could bring a grown man to tears. You don’t just eat these burgers; you experience them. The fries? Absolute legends. They’re golden, crispy, and the perfect sidekick to the burger superhero. They even have that slight diner grease sheen that lets you know they’ve been fried with love (and maybe a little butter because why not?). And the vibe? Pure small-town charm. Larrison’s feels like the kind of place where you’d expect to find someone named Doris pouring coffee and calling you “hon.” The walls are lined with little pieces of history, the booths are that perfect shade of retro red, and the hum of conversation in the air makes you feel like you’re part of something special. The staff here are pros. They’re not just servers—they’re food matchmakers. If you’re unsure what to get, they’ll steer you in the right direction. They’re fast, friendly, and somehow manage to refill your drink before you even realize it’s empty. Now, back to the food because, honestly, it deserves a second round of praise. I swear, they’ve got some kind of burger wizard back there flipping patties like it’s their destiny. And the grilled onions? They’re not just a topping; they’re a way of life. Larrison’s Diner isn’t just a place to eat—it’s a place to belong. It’s where you go to find the kind of meal that sticks with you, the kind that makes you smile every time you think about it. And if you haven’t been here yet, drop what you’re doing, get in your car, and prepare to have your taste buds changed forever. P.S. If you’re reading this while hungry, I’m sorry. Just know that Larrison’s is waiting for you, and the grill is already hot. ”
“ The food was hot off the grill, the waitress was right there when we needed anything, the atmosphere had that old school dinner feel, we loved it ”
“ In Larrison’s Diner, I just experienced the rare “perfect place.” Having lunch in here felt like something out of Twin Peaks or Supernatural, or some other nostalgic TV show with great atmosphere. This is a special establishment. I hope they never change the furniture, the neon sign, the service, the menu! 5 stars. ”
“ This place is fantastic! Excellent service and amazing food. Classic diner atmosphere, clean and quick. Daily specials that will keep you coming back. Everything I've had here has been delicious, I highly recommend their homemade fries and try a hamburger with the grilled onions, and their handmade milkshakes are the best. Truly a great spot, definitely recommend. ”
“ Found this little gem on a visit to Seymour . Love this little dinner. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Next time I'm close going to stop by and grab some good ol food ”
